ALUMNI Community
Alumni EFRI is the community of all students who graduated, mastered or earned a PhD diploma at Faculty of Economics and Business in Rijeka.
By establishing connections and cooperation between alumni and Faculty, Alumni EFRI supports exchange of knowledge and experience, enhances personal development of each alumni and thus advances the economy and the overall society.
At the same time Alumni EFRI familiarizes the students of the Faculty with different job opportunities available after graduation. Through its activities Alumni EFRI contributes to the half-century long tradition of studying at Faculty of Economics and Business.Goals of Alumni EFRI are:
-to establish and maintain connection between current and former students, among former students themselves, and former students with the Faculty.
-to promote and advance activities of Faculty of Economics and Business as an institution and as a part of University of Rijeka.
-to encourage and advance scientific, professional and practical activities of members of Alumni EFRI community.
-to develop cooperation between Faculty of Economics and Business with the businesses, organizations and institutions at which the former students are employed.
-to participate in international scientific, research and professional exchange and cooperation, and to establish relationship with other Alumni associations in Croatia and abroad.
-to assure professional interests of economists in accordance with the ethical principles and the rules of profession.
Alumni EFRI achieves these goals:
-by informing alumni about activities of Faculty of Economics and Business that are relevant for their personal and professional development-by inviting alumni to provide direct and indirect support in teaching activities at Faculty of Economics and Business
-by cooperating with alumni in hosting and mentoring students through field learning projects (company visits, internships, thesis research)
-by inviting alumni to organize or participate in round tables, discussions and lectures on current events and problems in economics and business in Croatian or international economies
-by inviting alumni to be a part of organizing networking events and study tours
-by organizing charity events
-by providing open access to the Library for alumni
-by organizing events and study trips in cooperation with other Alumni associations.
-by providing support and tracking professional development of alumni together with the Career Centre.
