Career Booster at the Faculty of Economics and business

After last year's success, for the second time, EFRI and Start-Up have joined forces and decided to bring together business professionals, motivational speakers and other successful individuals as part of the Career Booster project.

In the period from 6 to 8 March 2017, the Faculty of Economics in Rijeka will host Nina Kraljić (The Voice - The Most Beautiful Voice of Croatia), Matija Blažević (Collegium, Đir po Stari grad and Zrce Booze Cruise), Domagoj Ostović (Lloyds design studio ), Nela Dunato (Nela Dunato Art & Design), Marija Mažar (Alura Agency and founder of the Stilueta blog), Marko Pavičić (Motivation Up) and Mato Janković (MasterChef Croatia).

Career Booster enables students and young people to develop the additional knowledge and skills needed to build a successful career. They will learn how to look for a job and how to manage their business success, make contacts with potential future employers, improve their own skills, and gain insight into employers' expectations and the necessary information and motivation to succeed in work. Employers from different industries will present companies, selection procedures, seasonal jobs, internship and employment opportunities. The participants themselves will have the opportunity to get involved in solving four business cases of companies from different industries. In addition, there will be specialized workshops in finance, marketing, IT, career management, management, entrepreneurship, sales, soft skills, etc.
