Abstract: The proposal of this research project stems from a team of academics and young researchers interested in the way strategy implementation process can be improved. Unsuccessfully, a great part of Croatian entrepreneurs, often, lament they are not satisfied with the way their strategic plans are implemented and the results they achieved. This research proposal aims to get more information about sources of implementation obstacles as the starting point of applying contemporary knowledge and experiences in the area of strategic management in Croatian enterprises (according to strategy as practice). This will help to identify the lack of specific knowledge and competences that managers have to develop or improve to bridge many difficulties during the implementation process. The purpose of the research is to apply different reserach methods according to strategy-as-practice approach, and offer help in understaning phenomen in creating and implementing strategy and management education accordingly. The goal is to implement scientific methodology and instruments of strategy-as-practice and reach realistic and practical conclusions in order to facilitate business and ensure greater success rate competitiveness. Project is divided in four sections, each of them applies different strategy-as-practice methods on real, actual strategic problem contributing by relevant and applicable results.
