Digital skills program for students Social network TikTok

As part of the EU project: "Increasing the employability of students through the improvement of the Center for careers and development of professional practice - CEZAR", which is sponsored by the Faculty of Economics and Economics of the University of Rijeka, the Career Center  organizes a program for the development of digital skills.

The goal of the program is to teach participants how to design, record, edit and publish a TikTok video, all through the creation of their own video.

The program will be held from June 28 to 30, 2022, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Faculty of Economics nad Business in Rijeka. The program is intended exclusively for students.

About the lecturer:

Dario Marčac is 26 years old and a TikTok sensation with half a million followers. He is the founder of the largest community of TikTok creators in the region called Crew and the organizer of the first TikTok meet-up in Croatia.

Connecting TikTok with Instagram, Dario has over 650,000 followers consuming his content. He also runs channels for several brands that were among the first to recognize the power of the fastest-growing TikTok platform, whose concept is different from Instagram and Facebook.

Dario is also the youngest columnist of Jutarnji List, and a regular guest of conferences and festivals: UEFA Futsal Champions League panel on "How to become a successful sports organization", where he participated as a panelist and showed the benefits of using TikTok in sports organizations; as a lecturer at the WOLF conference; My Smart City Zadar conference on digital nomads; as panel moderator at the Cro Commerce 2021 conference, he led a discussion on influencers and their role in marketing; panelist at the Lider Marketing by Number conference and Digital Summit Ljubljana. At only 26 years old, Dario was the youngest lecturer at the Weekend Media Festival 2021 in Rovinj.

Due to the fact that he successfully manages dozens of company profiles on the TikTok platform and that his private content is always different and interesting, the media regularly broadcasts his work. His #BookTok challenge, in which 16 school librarians from all over Croatia participated, was covered in TV shows, numerous newspapers and magazines.
