EFRI Career Week

In this year's program as a part of 42 courses, 46 lecturers from different branches of industry took part in introducing themselves, transferring their knowledge and experience and informing our students about the opportunities offered to them during and after graduation.

This year's program included the representatives of companies and institutions: Kraš, Infobip, Chamber of Trades and Crafts of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, Erste & Steiermärkische Bank, Mansped, the Croatian National Theater Ivan pl. Zajc in Rijeka, the City of Rijeka, the Croatian Postal Bank, the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, and many others.

As part of Business Opportunities Day, educational workshops were held by representatives of the above-mentioned companies to help develop professional skills in our students.

Some of the are as follows:

·         "Personal branding and selection process at Infobip"

·         "Creating a career plan by Adecco"

·         "Preparing for the job market: writing a CV & selection process at CMGC"

·         "Powerpoint and Excel - tips and tricks" by representatives of danasradim.hr

Representatives of Valamar and Erste Bank held lectures on career development opportunities for students and the representatives of the Croatian Employment Service (Rijeka Regional Office) gave a lecture on Active Employment Policy Measures. Also, IntegralEdu introduced the Work & Travel USA program.

Through their info desks companies that follow presented themselves and gave information about future business opportunities to our students.

Thursday, October 24th in collaboration with the ALUMNI community, a panel entitled "Former Students to Present ones - Your Career Starts Today!" was held.

The panel included: Miljenko Vaić (co-owner and director at InCePoSa d.o.o. and sales director at PIK Rijeka d.d.), Nikša Tomulić (co-owner and director at kompare.hr), Ivana Validžić (head of strategy and operations at Brigada d.o.o.) and Aleksandra Ignatoski (business analyst at Aestus d.o.o.). The panel moderator was prof. Ivana First Komen, Ph.D.

As part of Graduation Day -25. October, graduates of the Mije Mirković Rijeka School of Economics together with their principle and professors visited us. They were presented the opportunities offered by the Faculty of Economics in Rijeka, and the assistant Ivan Gržeta gave a lecture on the topic of "Smart banking for young people".
