Free Coursera courses for students and employees

The University of Rijeka has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Coursera, and through this cooperation, students, teaching and non-teaching staff of the University of Rijeka have the opportunity to acquire the skills and competences necessary for more successful inclusion in the rapidly changing and competitive labor market, i.e. better and more efficient work with students or business tasks.

Coursera is the leading global online learning platform, with more than 6,500 courses available in high-demand fields such as business, soft-skills, computer science, data science and engineering, as well as +400 industry certifications and career-relevant specializations which consist of a sequence of courses and virtual laboratories (so-called Guided Projects).

Recently, Coursera, for its unique approach to skills transformation and mission that includes transforming people's lives by democratizing education, was awarded B Corp certification as evidence of meeting the highest standards of social and environmental efficiency and public transparency.

UNIRI - Coursera portal is a portal for acquiring professional certificates from renowned world universities and companies from the industry. Access to the portal is achieved through a uniri.hr user account, and is structured for individual target groups (selected contents are suggested to each target group, but also access to search for all educational contents from the Coursera offer).
