From idea to investor – panel

The sixth panel as part of the project "21 ways to success" within the thematic group Women on the start-up and scale-up scene is entitled "From idea to investor", and will be held on Thursday, February 24, starting at 6 p.m. in the Hilton GardenInn Hotel in Zagreb, with a live stream on the Entrio platform. The panelists of this panel will be Lea Perić, Renata Brkić and Josipa Majić, and the moderators of the panel will be Saša Cvetojević and Vedrana Likan.

Lea Perić is the founder of Perle Net, which has been developing the Xoink app since 2019 - the first educational app for parental protection. Before she decided to fully devote herself to the development of her own idea and company, Lea built her career for 18 years as a manager in the hotel industry, mostly in procurement and logistics. She found her opportunity during her maternity leave when, as a hobby, she put together the basic functionalities of today's application in a clickable excel table and started researching the market. It also received an additional boost from EU funds, as it is a truly innovative idea, after it was granted a grant of 200,000 euros for the development of the innovation. She is a mother of two children to whom she tries very hard to prove that they can be whatever they want in life.

Renata Brkić is the founder of the first venture capital fund for investments with social impact in Croatia and a partner in the management company Feelsgood Capital Partners. She is a parallel entrepreneur and investor, dedicated to projects that, in addition to profitability, also have a positive social and environmental impact. The founder of the Professor Baltazar Association, which in Croatia is implementing a revitalization project of this unique, artistic and socially responsible work in the direction of popularizing science and entrepreneurship. She is the producer of the new series of animated films Professor Baltazar. She is also the president of the assembly of the ZEZ Cooperative, a social enterprise that brings together a network of partners with the goal of building a Scientific Educational Entertainment Center - ZEZ through the reconstruction of the Stubički Golubovec castle in Donja Stubica. She is the mother of three children.

Josipa Majić is an IT entrepreneur based in Zagreb. As a student, she worked on the first "smart teddy bear" product with biomedical sensors, which she licensed to Hasbro, and after that she deals with the analysis of biometric signals through the company Tacit.tech. She donates a laboratory for the analysis of biometric signals and affective computing at the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb, where she works as a lecturer and external collaborator. At the same time, she enters the world of cryptocurrencies and fintech as a co-founder of the company Revuto, which deals with the management of subscription costs. With the company, she does the first ever token sale on the Cardano platform, where 10 million USD of investments were collected as well as 3 million pre-orders in just a few weeks and 350 thousand active users in the EU alone.
