Information on classes during the winter semester 2021/ 2022
Pursuant to the Recommendation for the Execution of Teaching Activities at the University of Rijeka in 2021/ 2022 as of 1 September, 2021, the Recommendations for the Execution of Teaching Activities at Higher Education Institutions during the Covid-19 Pandemic with the Implementation of Anti-epidemic Measures in 2021/ 2022 as of 2 September 2021, and the Guidelines of the Ministry of Science and Education on the Implementation of Study Programmes in 2021/ 2022 as of 26 August 2021, classes at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Rijeka will be organized in the following way:
1) Full time studies. Lectures/ seminar classes/ practicum classes, continuous assessments and final exams will be held on-site (at the Faculty premises).
a. Classes followed by one study programme only (e.g. International Business - held in English language) and courses held only for students of one study programme (e.g. study programme’s obligatory course) will be held every week on-site (at the Faculty premises).
b. Due to the measures proposing that there can be up to 100 students in the study hall without checking the COVID Certificate, obligatory and elective courses taken by students of all or more than one study programme (usually courses offered in the first and second study year, as well as some courses offered to senior years) will be held in the following way:
- in the first week, students of Management (MN), Economics (EK) and Marketing (MAR) will attend classes on-site, whereas all other students will attend classes online
- in the second week, students of Entrepreneurship (POD), Finance (FIN) and International Business (MP) will attend classes on-site, whereas all other students will attend classes online
- from third week on, students will attend classes according to the same schedule.
c. Notwithstanding the foregoing, continuous assessments and final exams will be held entirely on-site.
