Planting EFRI forest - new date!

After the postponement of the action of planting EFRI forest due to unfavorable weather conditions (snow), we decided on a new date – Saturday, April 23 at the same location. In collaboration with Croatian Forests (Hrvatskim šumama), we will plant EFRI beech forest in the area of Vrbovsko (Moravice) as part of the "Days od Joint Planting" project. This action has also educational nature because the workers of Croatian forests will not only  introduce us to the rules of planting but also help us plant about 500 beeches.

Everybody who signs for organized bus transport leaves from the bus stop in street Fiorello la Guardia (near the Tommy market) at 8 am. Arrival in Moravice (Vrbovsko) is schedualed for 9.30 am. In this action of reforestation,  all students, employees, and members of their families are invited.

The Faculty organizes transport and lunch for everybody after the reforestation, and it is up to you to wear appropriate shoes, work gloves, dress in layers, and bring goodwill. If you have the tool–hoe, please bring it with you so more teams can plant at the same time.

Applications are open until Friday, April 15, 2022. Everyone that filled the form for the first date should re-apply.
