Three-day education on career guidance for students

As part of the EU project "Increasing the employability of students through the improvement of the Center for Careers and Development of Professional Practice - CEZAR", led by the Faculty of Economics and business, University of Rijeka, the Center for Careers organizes a three-day education on career guidance for students: "Is there a place for me here (at the job market)."

Education is a workshop type and workshops are interactive with many exercises and form a whole, which is why participation is mandatory during all three days. Students will receive a Certificate of Participation.


Target group: Final year students at Faculty of Economics and business, University of Rijeka

Dates: May 17-19, 2022.

The number of places is limited to 15 students, and final year students have an advantage.


About lecturers

Helena Lujanović is a graduate student of psychology, who gained her experience in working with different groups by volunteering at Brave Phone Helpline and at the National Call Centre for Victims of Crime. She has participated in several scientific and professional conferences in the field of psychology.

Ivana Malivuk is a graduate student of psychology. Throughout her studies, she volunteered in numerous organizations such as the Center for eating disorders BEA, the Psychology Students Association "Psihomnia" and the European Federation of Psychology Students'​Associations. She developed her research interests through professional and scientific conferences in the field of psychology.

Ivana and Helena are employees at the Institute for Labor Market Development for less than a year and participate in the creation and implementation of educational activities as part of career and professional guidance for various groups. They also participate in conducting social research and labor market analysis.

INSTITUTE FOR LABOR MARKET DEVELOPMENT

The Institute for Labor Market Development (IRTR) was founded in 2008 and is one of the few organizations in Croatia that deals with the improvement of the labor market through the introduction of new action models. IRTR has extensive experience in creating, testing innovative services aimed at developing an inclusive and flexible labor market and human resources in Croatia, especially in terms of developing, and piloting innovative methods used to improve the employability of marginalized groups.
