University of Rijeka - a safe place without sexual harassment
The University of Rijeka is the first university in the Republic of Croatia whose University Senate has decided to adopt a Gender equality plan.
The guidelines were developed by a university interdisciplinary working group with the goal of offering guidelines for action in cases of sexual harassment, but, more importantly, for preventive action to make the University of Rijeka a safe place to study and work for all.
The guidelines are intended for all students, employees, business partners, and visitors of any component of the University of Rijeka, regardless of the role of victim, participant, witness, friend, or responsible person at the institution- in which they can be found. The goal of this document is to help everybody recognize sexual harassment more easily and act suitably regardless of the position person is in.
