Workshop for improving pedagogical and methodical competences

As part of the activities of the HKO project Excellence and efficiency in higher education in the field of economics - E4, on Wednesday 26 January 2022. via Zoom, a workshop was held for the improvement of pedagogical and methodical competences for teachers of the Faculty of Economics.

The topics covered by the workshop are:

·          Competence approach in higher education teaching,

·          Contemporary teaching strategies and methods in higher education i

·          Recognizing and respecting the needs and interests of students in the teaching process.

The seminar was conducted by professors associate professor, Ph.D.Sc. Morana Koludrović and associate professor, Ph.D. Ina Reić Ercegovac from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Split.

The goal of the workshop was to dynamically evaluate acquired, improve existing and develop new teaching competencies, while the workshop was realized in the context of a modern competence and constructivist approach to learning and teaching. Special emphasis is placed on the possibility of applying modern teaching strategies and methods in higher education teaching and on the role of students and higher education teachers with the aim of improving the teaching process.
