This accreditation represents an internationally recognized mark of quality for study programmes in the fields of management, economics, and business economics that meet high standards of <strong>relevance, internationalization, and academic excellence<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Approximately <strong>150 programmes worldwide<\/strong> hold the prestigious <strong>EFMD Accredited Programme<\/strong> label, placing them among a select group of <strong>high-quality international programmes in the global academic environment<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon completion of the undergraduate university study programme in <strong>International Business<\/strong>, students obtain <strong>180 ECTS credits<\/strong> and receive a diploma confirming the academic title <strong>University Bachelor (baccalaureus\/baccalaurea) of Economics<\/strong> (abbreviation: <strong>univ. bacc. oec.<\/strong>). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>What Students Learn and Develop<\/summary>\n<p>The <strong>International Business<\/strong> study programme enables students to acquire and apply knowledge of the <strong>key principles of international business<\/strong>, as well as to develop a high level of understanding of the <strong>global market and international business environment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teaching is delivered through <strong>innovative methods<\/strong> that encourage <strong>student civic engagement<\/strong> and the adoption of <strong>ethical and responsible business behaviour appropriate to the digital age<\/strong>. The programme provides <strong>in-depth knowledge and understanding of fundamental theories, practices, and techniques for managing international business activities<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Innovative and content-rich teaching methods, collaboration with <strong>domestic and international companies<\/strong>, study periods at <strong>partner universities abroad<\/strong>, international internships, and <strong>extracurricular activities<\/strong> provide a strong foundation for the development of future professionals who will operate in a demanding <strong>international business environment<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The acquired knowledge and skills can be classified into <strong>five key categories<\/strong>: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>knowledge and understanding <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>application of knowledge and understanding <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>judgement and reasoning <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>communication <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>learning skills <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The competencies acquired include the ability to <strong>analyse, synthesize, and develop solutions to problems in economics and business economics<\/strong>, develop <strong>critical thinking<\/strong>, engage in <strong>independent learning<\/strong>, integrate knowledge, adapt to new business and social environments, and <strong>creatively solve business problems<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Competencies Developed During the Programme<\/summary>\n<p><strong>Business Knowledge<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Graduates are able to: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>interpret fundamental models, concepts, and principles of business economics <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>explain entrepreneurship, organization, and business practices at the <strong>national, regional, and international levels<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>distinguish basic categories of business operations in <strong>management, finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, and international business<\/strong> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Thinking Skills<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students learn to: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>collect data and propose <strong>well-reasoned solutions to less complex problems<\/strong> in business economics <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>apply <strong>basic statistical and quantitative methods<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>critically analyse economic concepts as well as <strong>quantitative and qualitative information<\/strong> for business decision-making <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Communication<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Graduates are able to: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>present information, ideas, problems, and solutions <strong>orally and\/or in written form<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>develop, prepare, and present solutions <strong>through teamwork<\/strong> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Business Ethics<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students learn to: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>recognize and analyse <strong>ethical challenges in the business environment<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>formulate conclusions related to <strong>relevant social and ethical issues in international business<\/strong> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Career Opportunities and Further Education<\/summary>\n<p>The qualification of <strong>Bachelor of Economics<\/strong> enables graduates to <strong>enter the labour market directly<\/strong> and perform demanding professional work in <strong>companies, public enterprises, and public administration institutions<\/strong>, as well as in organizations operating in an <strong>international business environment<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Possible career positions include: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>lower- and mid-level <strong>management positions<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>professional and analytical roles<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>positions in the <strong>financial and banking sector<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>roles in <strong>public relations and human resource management<\/strong> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>After completing the undergraduate university programme, students meet the requirements to <strong>enrol in a corresponding graduate (master\u2019s) university programme<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Admission Requirements and Application Procedure<\/summary>\n<p>Candidates may enrol in the <strong>Undergraduate University Study Programme in International Business<\/strong> if they have: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>completed a <strong>four-year secondary school<\/strong>, <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>passed the <strong>State Matura examination<\/strong>, and <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>fulfilled the requirements for enrolment in the <strong>first year of study<\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates who completed a four-year secondary school <strong>before 2010<\/strong> are <strong>not required to take the State Matura examination<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications are submitted through the <strong>National Information System of Applications to Higher Education Institutions (Postani Student)<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.postani-student.hr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Nacionalnog informacijskog sustava prijava na visoka Fees<\/summary>\n<p>Annual tuition fees for the <strong>International Business programme (taught in English)<\/strong> are: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>\u20ac2,000<\/strong> for students who are <strong>citizens of the Republic of Croatia or other EU Member States<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u20ac5,000<\/strong> for students who are <strong>citizens of countries outside the European Union<\/strong> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>enrolment fee<\/strong> is <strong>\u20ac58.20 for all students<\/strong>.
