The program is based on knowledge developed through an interdisciplinary integration of management, law, economics, organizational studies, and information technologies in the public sector. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the program, participants are enabled to conduct in-depth critical analysis, evaluate existing approaches, and develop new knowledge aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the public sector. The program ensures the acquisition of theoretical, scientific, and methodological competencies required to address the most complex research and practical challenges in the field of public sector management and economics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program is delivered in cooperation with the partner institution, the <strong>Faculty of Public Administration, University of Ljubljana (Slovenia)<\/strong>. It lasts three years and comprises <strong>180 ECTS credits<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Admission Requirements<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The postgraduate doctoral programme is open to: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>applicants who have completed a university graduate study programme; <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>applicants who have completed a four-year university undergraduate study programme under the regulations in force prior to the entry into force of the Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Proficiency in the <strong>English language<\/strong> is a requirement for enrolment in the programme. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ranking of Applicants<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants are ranked according to the total number of points awarded on the basis of the following criteria: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>grade point average achieved during previous studies; <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>proposed research topic; <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>proficiency in English; <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a recommendation from at least one university professor familiar with the applicant&#8217;s academic achievements; <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>evidence of published scientific papers in scientific journals indexed in databases in accordance with the criteria of the Area Council for Social Sciences of the National Council for Science, as well as in <strong>Scopus<\/strong> and the <strong>Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)<\/strong>; <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>evidence of awards received; <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>an interview between the applicant and members of the Committee for Postgraduate Studies and Doctoral Programmes concerning the expected scientific contribution of the proposed research topic.
