This professional training program is based on an accredited study program of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Rijeka and is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to understand and apply sustainable financial instruments, assess ESG risks and opportunities, and integrate sustainability criteria into financial decision-making. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Program Learning Outcomes<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>explain the importance of sustainable finance as a prerequisite for achieving sustainable development in the business and financial sectors and modern economies <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>identify and categorize the key elements and drivers of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>explain and compare types, risks, and opportunities of sustainable financial instruments available in international financial markets <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>understand the legal and regulatory framework for sustainability reporting and sustainable finance in the EU and Croatia <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>understand ESG risk management approaches <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>apply and promote ESG-compliant business practices and sustainable behavior at the individual level <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>critically evaluate issues related to misleading green marketing practices (greenwashing) <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Benefits of Completing the Micro-qualification (for Students)<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>acquisition, improvement, and enhancement of knowledge, skills, and competencies in a rapidly growing field: sustainable business, green economy, and ESG <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>increased recognition and competitiveness in the labor market <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a more attractive CV <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>free lifelong learning (for University of Rijeka students) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>certificate\/diploma of completed micro-qualification <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the micro-qualification is recorded in the Diploma Supplement <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The program is free of charge.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Program Duration:<\/strong> 2\u20134 semesters (depending on course schedules across faculties) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ECTS Credits:<\/strong> 10 ECTS <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Completion Requirements:<\/strong> Passing final exams in all courses included in the program and enrollment in the program <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Program Holder:<\/strong> Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Rijeka <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Program Providers:<\/strong> <br>Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Rijeka <br>Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Program Coordinator:<\/strong> Prof. Bojana Olgi\u0107 Dra\u017eenovi\u0107, PhD <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lecturers:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prof. Bojana Olgi\u0107 Dra\u017eenovi\u0107, PhD <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assoc.
