{"id":5812,"date":"2026-01-28T12:15:27","date_gmt":"2026-01-28T11:15:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/efri.uniri.hr\/?page_id=5812"},"modified":"2026-10-12T12:14:27","modified_gmt":"2026-10-12T10:14:27","slug":"career-centre","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/efri.uniri.hr\/en\/business-community\/career-centre\/","title":{"rendered":"Career Centre"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>VISION<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Career Centre connects students\u2019 potential with opportunities in the labour market, enabling them to develop their careers and contribute to building a sustainable society. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>MISSION<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In cooperation with the community, we design and implement activities aimed at the continuous acquisition of practical knowledge and the development of careers within the EFRI community, with the goal of increasing their competitiveness in the labour market. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Career Centre Objectives:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Increase the employability and competitiveness of students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Rijeka <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Connect key stakeholders \u2013 students, employers, and alumni <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Foster a culture of early career development and career management <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Build a network of potential employers <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"5\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Act as a partner in the development of the best business ideas (student entrepreneurship) <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"6\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Support self-employment through financial and professional assistance for student start-ups <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key Activities:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>professional internships <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>educational workshops and lectures focused on developing professional knowledge and skills <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>career counselling <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>panels, conferences, and student competitions <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>connecting students with employers and mentors <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>encouraging student entrepreneurship <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>cooperation with the business sector on various projects <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The EFRI Career Centre Strategy 2021\u20132025, developed within the CEZAR project, is available HERE. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Within the EU project <em>\u201cIncreasing Student Employability through the Enhancement of the Career Centre and Internship Development \u2013 CEZAR\u201d<\/em>, led by the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Rijeka, a wide range of activities was designed and implemented between March 2020 and February 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a result of the project, cooperation between the Faculty and the business community has been significantly strengthened, leading to improvements in the implementation of professional internships through clearly defined learning outcomes.
