{"id":5970,"date":"2026-01-28T13:12:24","date_gmt":"2026-01-28T12:12:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/efri.uniri.hr\/?page_id=5970"},"modified":"2026-06-29T09:18:37","modified_gmt":"2026-06-29T07:18:37","slug":"ceepus","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/efri.uniri.hr\/en\/international-cooperation\/international-mobility\/ceepus\/","title":{"rendered":"CEEPUS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Program for University Studies)<\/strong> is a regional mobility program in higher education aimed at promoting the mobility of students and teachers within specific CEEPUS networks across Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the summer semester, mobility outside established networks is also possible (<strong>Freemover mobility<\/strong>), based on available quotas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Participating Countries<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CEEPUS member countries include: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Croatia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Serbia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each country defines: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the number of available scholarships <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>scholarship amounts <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>additional benefits (e.g., accommodation, meals, health insurance) <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>More information: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ceepus.info\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">http:\/\/www.ceepus.info\/<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students are exempt from tuition fees at the host institution and must remain enrolled at their home institution. Travel costs are covered by the National CEEPUS Office. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>NETWORK MOBILITY<\/summary>\n<p>Network mobility takes place between partner institutions within a specific CEEPUS network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Faculty participates in two networks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>SI-0215<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>HR-1301<\/strong> (doctoral-level mobility within the CESEENET network) <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Students and teaching staff may apply depending on available quotas. Non-teaching staff generally cannot apply, except for coordinators and international office staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Partner institutions can be found here:<br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ceepus.info\/content\/find\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.ceepus.info\/content\/find<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Student Mobility Conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Duration: up to 10 months (typically 4\u20135 months)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Short-term mobility: 1\u20133 months (e.g., writing thesis work)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Requirements: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Full-time or part-time student status<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completion of at least two semesters of undergraduate study<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Citizenship of a CEEPUS member country<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pre-selection process at the home institution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Required documents for pre-selection:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>CV<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Motivation letter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proof of student status<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transcript of records<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>After pre-selection, candidates apply via the <strong>CEEPUS online portal<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of mobility, students receive a Letter of Confirmation, which must be uploaded to justify the scholarship and claim travel reimbursement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Teaching Staff Mobility Conditions<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Teaching and\/or mentoring (minimum 6 hours per week)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Duration: up to one month<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prior agreement with host institution required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Application Pre-application proposal from teaching candidates include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>host institution name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>teaching topics (with hours)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>planned dates of stay<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>After internal review of received proposals, candidates will be asked to complete their CEEPUS online application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Scholarship conditions vary by country: <br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ceepus.info\/content\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.ceepus.info\/content\/home<\/a> (look at the bottom of the page \u2013 the &#8220;flags&#8221; for individual countries).<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>FREEMOVER MOBILITY<\/summary>\n<p>Freemover mobility allows applications to any institution within the CEEPUS program, based on remaining quotas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Advantages: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>wider choice of institutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Limitations: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>lower chances of receiving a scholarship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Freemover Student Mobility Conditions<\/strong><br>Same as network mobility, with additional requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Letter of Acceptance from host institution<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two letters of recommendation Two Freemover Letters of Recommendation from home institution&#8217;s teachers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Freemover Staff Mobility Conditions<\/strong><br>Same as network mobility, with an additional requirement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Freemover Teacher Letter of Acceptance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>APPLICATION DEADLINES<\/summary>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>June 1 \u2013 network mobilities (for winter semester next academic year)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>July 1 \u2013 freemover mobilities (for winter semester next academic year, where applicable)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>November 1 \u2013 network and freemover mobilities (for summer semester)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All applications must be preceded by a pre-application process at the home institution 2\u20133 weeks before official deadlines.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>CONTACTS<\/summary>\n<p><strong>International Mobility Office (EFRI)<\/strong><br>Mr.sc.
