They are important for gaining insight into a specific research field. They are used to gain insight into a specific research field and to track the impact of a particular work or author within that field. If you are accessing it outside the Faculty network, you need to click on the \u201cProxy\u201d option in the upper right corner and log in using your AAI identity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Portal also provides information on new resources and trial access available at the national level. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>General Instructions for Accessing Databases Outside the EFRI Network:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If, when accessing a database, the system prompts you for a password (i.e. your IP address is not recognised as part of the academic network), or you receive a message stating that your IP address is \u201cnot recognised\u201d, look for the option <strong>\u201cShibboleth user\u201d<\/strong>. Then, under <strong>\u201cSelect your region or group\u201d<\/strong>, choose <strong>\u201cCroatian Research and Education Federation AAI@EduHr\u201d<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the final step, a login window will appear where you need to enter your AAI account credentials (username and password), after which the database interface will open. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u202f PLATFORMS <br>\u202f <br><a href=\"https:\/\/baze.nsk.hr\/baza\/statista\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Statista<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u202f<\/strong> It is a statistical data analysis tool that brings together national and international statistics and market data, providing access to more than 1.9 million statistics, forecasts, dossiers, reports, and infographics across 80,000 different topics from over 22,500 sources. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through insights into market trends, company data, and analyses of consumer behaviour, users gain a comprehensive view of the business landscape.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bibliographic and Citation Databases<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/baze.nsk.hr\/baza\/current-contents-connect\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Current Contents Connect<\/strong><\/a> is a bibliographic database that contains bibliographic information about academic papers. The reasons for its popularity include strict journal selection criteria, coverage of all scientific fields, frequent updates, author abstracts, author addresses, publisher names and addresses, the possibility to view the contents of individual journal issues, and additional keywords that improve search results. Current Contents Connect is not a citation database, but only a bibliographic database. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/baze.nsk.hr\/baza\/econlit-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>EconLit<\/strong><\/a> is a bibliographic database that contains information on journal articles, books, dissertations, and other works in the field of economics and related areas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/baze.nsk.hr\/baza\/journal-citation-reports\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Journal Citation Reports<\/strong><\/a> provides citation data and information on the Impact Factor of individual journals. It covers more than 7,600 journals in the fields of biomedicine, natural sciences, technical sciences, and social sciences through the JCR Science Edition and JCR Social Sciences Edition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/baze.nsk.hr\/baza\/scopus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Scopus<\/strong><\/a> is a bibliographic and citation database that indexes journals, book series, and conference proceedings from all scientific fields. It includes sources from around the world, including more than 130 current Croatian journals. Citation data is available from 1996 onwards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scimagojr.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>SCImago Journal &amp; Country Rank<\/strong><\/a> is a citation database that provides an overview of bibliometric indicators for journals indexed in the Scopus database. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/baze.nsk.hr\/baza\/web-science\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Web of Science Core Collection \u2014 WoSCC<\/strong><\/a> is one of the databases available through the Web of Science platform. It is a bibliographic and citation database that covers all scientific fields and combines several citation indexes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Full-Text Databases<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/baze.nsk.hr\/baza\/jstor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>JSTOR<\/strong><\/a> offers a range of thematic collections covering economics, management, organisation, finance, marketing, labour, and employment. Subscribed papers are available in full text. Access is provided to the Arts &amp; Sciences I\u2013VIII and Health &amp; General Sciences collections. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/baze.nsk.hr\/baza\/springer-e-journals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Springer Journals<\/strong><\/a> is a journal collection containing more than 2,000 titles covering all scientific fields. The collection is available through the Springer Nature Link platform. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/baze.nsk.hr\/baza\/taylor-francis-subject-collections-arhiva\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Taylor &amp; Francis Subject Collections<\/strong><\/a> is a collection of scientific journals containing 2,300 titles from 23 subject areas within the social sciences and humanities, natural and technical sciences, medicine, and public health. Content is available from 1997 to the present. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/baze.nsk.hr\/baza\/wiley\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Wiley Online Library<\/strong><\/a> is a platform that provides access to a multidisciplinary collection containing more than 1,400 journals. The journals cover the fields of social sciences and humanities, natural and technical sciences, and medicine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Open Access Databases<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"191\" height=\"64\" src=\"https:\/\/efri.uniri.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/srce_Hrcak.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7697\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/hrcak.srce.hr\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>HR\u010cAK<\/strong><\/a> is the central portal that brings together Croatian scientific and professional journals offering open access to their papers in one place. HR\u010cAK also includes the <em>Proceedings of Rijeka Faculty of Economics: Journal of Economics and Business<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"164\" height=\"64\" src=\"https:\/\/efri.uniri.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/srce_CroRIS.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6361\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CroRIS \u2013 CROSBI<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.croris.hr\/crosbi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Croatian Scientific Bibliography \u2013 CROSBI<\/strong><\/a> contains bibliographic data on the scientific and professional productivity of individuals within the science and higher education system of the Republic of Croatia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CroRIS \u2013 CROSBI<\/strong> is part of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.croris.hr\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>CroRIS<\/strong><\/a>, the information system of science of the Republic of Croatia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/oatd.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>OATD.org<\/strong><\/a> is a platform that provides free access to a large number of dissertations and other academic publications. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/doaj.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>DOAJ<\/strong><\/a> is a comprehensive collection of open access scientific and professional journals. DOAJ aims to include as many journals as possible from all scientific fields, while ensuring that they are valuable journals with verified content quality. Each included journal must have a peer-review process or editorial quality control, publish scientific content, be issued periodically, and be freely available in open access. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/repec.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>RePEc: Research Papers in Economics<\/strong><\/a> is a volunteer project and platform whose goal is to increase the availability of information in the field of economics. It provides data and access to numerous articles, software, working papers, book chapters, books, author information, and more. Full text is available for a large number of papers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Specialised Search Engine<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/scholar.google.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Google Scholar<\/strong><\/a> offers a simple way to broadly search scholarly literature.
