Youth and employment - thematic lecture

On Wednesday, April 27, at 4:30 p.m., a thematic lecture "Youth and employment" will be held in the City Hall of the City of Rijeka. The organizer of this lecture is the Youth Council of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, and the lecturer is Mr. Željko Marković, in front of the Croatian Employment Service.

The main topic of this lecture will be the employment of young people in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, and the following segments will be covered within the mentioned main topic:

• grants for employment/self-employment,
• education of employed and unemployed persons,
• on-the-job training,
• training grants,
• preparation for interviews with employers,
• career development,
• internships,
• CVs and requests for better representation.

In fact, the goal of this lecture is to cover all the topics that are important to young people when they enter the labor market, whether it is about the initiative for self-employment or whether it is about finding a job or everything that precedes it. There is also time for questions, during which young people will be able to ask specific questions, and the lecturer will best explain to them from his point of view and experience how it works in practice.

Here, we will try to solve the problem of insufficient information among young people about everything that is available to them, whether it is various training, education, employment support, but also preparation for the interview itself, that is, the presentation of oneself to a potential employer.
