Entry requirements / Application process

Application process:
 
First inform yourself at international@efri.hr about your application eligibility, possible limitations, especially for non-EU candidates (e.g. available admission quota, visa, administrative requirements, etc.) and about costs, such as fees, deposits and health insurance costs. 
 
After informing yourself, if eligible and ready to apply, first submit your application for the recognition of your foreign bachelor diploma to the Rijeka University's Recognition Office (latest May/June, since there is a certain time needed for completing this process). At the end of the recognition process you will get a recognition document, which is needed in the final stage of your masters application process (STEP 5).

This process is separated from the STEP 2 diploma recognition process and goes entirely through the Croatian national Central Application Office.  After your registration at their NISpDS online-platform https://diplomski.studij.hr/ –> "Foreign Citizens”, which opens in July for autumn intake (according to their Calendar https://www.studij.hr/kalendar), you have to physically send them all the needed application documents (certified and translated documents) in a registered post letter (registered delivery). Application results (the ranking list): end-September

Application results will be published by the national Central Application Office in form of a ranking list, on the date and time mentioned in their Calendar https://www.studij.hr/kalendar 
Your ranking will depend on your bachelor’s degree average grade.
 


• Enrolment into the Master in International Business will only be possible for candidates placed on the ranking list, who entered the available admission quota.
• Enrolments will start right after application results will be published, according to the enrolment schedule https://www.efri.uniri.hr/en/enrollment_schedule/108 and instructions given by the Admission Office of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Rijeka.
• During the enrolment process you have to provide the Admission Office with necessary enrolment documents and with your Croatian ID number (OIB-number).
• Lectures start at the beginning of October.
 
Important note: Please note that during the enrolment process you have to provide our Admission Office with your Croatian ID number (the so called OIB-number), issued by the Croatian Tax Office. Without this number your enrolment is not possible! You can get this number only at a Croatian Tax Office, in person. An online request for OIB to tax authorities is unfortunately not possible.
