EUTOPIA Ecological Intelligence Autumn School

The University of Ljubljana invites you to the international EUTOPIA Ecological Intelligence autumn school, dedicated to exploring the impact of ecological crises, climate extremes, and environmental degradation on the politics and ethics of inclusion. The event will take place on November 21 and 22, 2024, at the University of Ljubljana.

 

The school will be led by renowned international lecturers from various theoretical and disciplinary fields. The focus will be on the humanities and its role in reflecting on diversity, minorities, marginalized communities, and the new actors co-created by ecological disasters and artificial intelligence. Participants will gain new knowledge in environmental humanities, digitalization, and society, and will be introduced to innovative practical methodologies in transformative arts and social sciences.

 

The school is intended for master's and doctoral students with prior knowledge in social theory, communication studies, and digitalization, as well as for all those who wish to gain new interdisciplinary insights in their studies and research.

Applications should be sent to jelena.licanin@uni-lj.si. The number of participants is limited to 20 students. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendance is mandatory for both days of the school. The deadline for applications is November 10, 2024.
