The MBA program Energy Economics (EES) is a unique interdisciplinary and international postgraduate program that combines contemporary management practices with the latest scientific advancements in the energy sector. The program provides an integrated approach to the economic and technical aspects of energy, with the aim of preparing participants for managerial roles in this field. Participants acquire the knowledge necessary to develop sustainable business strategies, objectively evaluate energy projects, and improve service quality. The program enables an understanding of energy markets, forecasting market trends, effective risk management, and optimization of financial and project management.
The program has been designed by leading experts from academia and the energy industry, and is delivered through collaboration between academic and industry lecturers. Experts from global and Croatian energy companies, regulatory bodies, and relevant scientific and educational institutions take part in delivering the program. This combination of theory and practice ensures a high level of applicability of the acquired knowledge.
In addition to education, the program offers a strong professional experience and the opportunity to build a lasting professional network. Participants work and learn alongside experienced and ambitious managers and experts from various organizations, encouraging knowledge exchange, collaboration, and long-term professional development in the energy sector.

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS AND CRITERIA
The university specialist study program may be enrolled by candidates who have:
- completed a graduate university study program leading to the academic title of Master (magistar) or equivalent
- completed an undergraduate university study program and obtained a higher education degree in accordance with regulations in force prior to the Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education
- completed a professional graduate study program, with the obligation to pass additional (bridging) exams determined by the higher education institution, or have at least five years of work experience in the field of the study program

Applications to the call are submitted by completing the online application form.
In addition, for a successful application, candidates must submit the required documentation in person or by post:
- list of required application documents (DOC / PDF)
- curriculum vitae (CV)
- certified copy of the diploma (applicants who graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Rijeka, or those with a digital diploma are not required to certify the copy)
- transcript of grades from graduate/undergraduate studies
- certificate of personal identification number (OIB)
- applicant’s statement or employer’s statement (in written form) confirming payment of tuition fees
- electronic employment record (e-work booklet)
- applicants who obtained their degree at a foreign university must, at their own expense, submit a decision from the competent authority on the academic recognition of their foreign higher education qualification

Payment is possible in three installments or via student loans.
