The university undergraduate study program at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Rijeka provides students with a broad foundation of knowledge in the fields of economics and business economics and prepares them for further academic development and successful integration into the business environment. Through modern teaching methods, the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical examples, and the development of analytical skills, students acquire the competencies needed to understand and solve complex economic and business challenges.
During their studies, students become familiar with key economic concepts, business processes, and organizational management functions, while also developing the ability for critical thinking, decision-making, and applying knowledge in various business situations. The program is designed to build a solid foundation for further advancement through graduate studies, as well as for the development of a professional career in both the private and public sectors.
The study program lasts three academic years, or six semesters, and upon completion students earn the academic title of university baccalaureus in economics (univ. bacc. oec.) with the possibility of continuing their education at the graduate level.
