1st FinTech Conference: Unleashing the Future of the Digital Economy

FinTech: Unleashing the Future of the Digital Economy was the first student conference dedicated to the latest trends and innovations in financial technology (FinTech), the digital economy, and blockchain. The conference was jointly organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Rijeka, and the Faculty of Engineering, University of Rijeka.
The conference brought together representatives from academia, industry experts, students, and all those interested in the development of financial technologies, with the aim of promoting the exchange of knowledge, experience, and best practices. Through expert presentations and discussions, participants had the opportunity to explore the latest trends shaping the future of the financial sector and examine the potential of innovative digital solutions in business.
The conference programme focused on current topics in FinTech and blockchain technology, with particular emphasis on the development of the digital economy, technological innovation, and their application in the financial sector. By bringing together leading experts and enthusiasts from the fields of finance and technology, the event created a platform for the exchange of ideas, networking, and the development of new forms of collaboration between academia and industry.
