PUBLIC SECTOR MANAGEMENT AND ECONOMICS
Through the joint doctoral study program Public Sector Management and Economics, participants are introduced to current and complex issues in public sector governance. The program is based on knowledge developed through an interdisciplinary integration of management, law, economics, organizational studies, and information technologies in the public sector.
During the program, participants are enabled to conduct in-depth critical analysis, evaluate existing approaches, and develop new knowledge aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the public sector. The program ensures the acquisition of theoretical, scientific, and methodological competencies required to address the most complex research and practical challenges in the field of public sector management and economics.
The program is delivered in cooperation with the partner institution, the Faculty of Public Administration, University of Ljubljana (Slovenia). It is the first joint doctoral program between a Croatian and a foreign university in the field of social sciences, with the doctoral diploma co-signed by the rectors of both universities.
