The Erasmus+ international mobility program is the largest European Union program for education, training, youth, and sport. It enables both students and staff to acquire new knowledge, experience, and skills.
The list of Erasmus partner institutions available to students and staff is continuously expanding. The current list can be found on the University of Rijeka website:

STUDENT MOBILITY
Erasmus is available to all full-time and part-time students of the Faculty at all levels of study.
Students remain enrolled at their home institution for the entire duration of mobility and are required to:
- enroll in courses for the corresponding semester/year at their home institution before departure
- continue paying tuition fees if they are self-financing their studies
Through Erasmus, students can:
- study abroad
- write their bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral thesis
- participate in short-term BIP (Blended Intensive Programmes)
- complete internships
The total duration of mobility is up to 12 months per study cycle, and students may participate multiple times within this limit.

After returning, students undergo a recognition process for completed obligations at the host institution.
STAFF MOBILITY
Teaching staff can participate in Erasmus mobility for:
- teaching (minimum 8 hours per week)
- professional development
Teaching mobility is only possible at partner institutions with which the Faculty has a signed Erasmus agreement.
Non-teaching staff can apply for professional development at any Erasmus-participating institution, regardless of whether a formal agreement exists.
Both teaching and non-teaching staff may also participate in short-term BIP Erasmus programs organized by partner institutions.
