The program for acquiring missing knowledge, skills, and competencies required for enrollment in the graduate university study program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Rijeka.
The purpose of the program is to upgrade previously acquired knowledge and enable continuation of studies and attainment of a higher academic qualification, in accordance with the needs, interests, and competencies of future participants.
Program Structure
The bridging program consists of the following courses:
- Macroeconomics (6 ECTS)
- Microeconomics (6 ECTS)
- International Economics (6 ECTS)
- Elective course (6 ECTS)
- Final thesis (6 ECTS)

PROGRAM ENROLLMENT
The right to apply for enrollment in the program is granted to individuals who have completed a four-year secondary school and meet one of the following conditions:
- completed a professional undergraduate study program under the old system in the field of social sciences
- completed a professional undergraduate study program under the new system in the field of social sciences and obtained at least 180 ECTS credits
- completed a university undergraduate study program under the old system in the field of social sciences
Teaching is delivered in an online environment.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
Programs designed to meet the requirements for enrollment in graduate university studies at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Rijeka are part of lifelong learning programs. Enrollment in this program does not grant student status and therefore does not include student rights and obligations.
Courses with the same name and/or content completed outside this program are not recognized.
Courses will be delivered provided that at least 15 candidates enroll.
Upon completion of the program, and after passing all exams, participants receive a certificate listing all completed courses and achieved results.
Completion of the program grants the right to apply for enrollment in the graduate university study program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Rijeka.
At the time of enrollment, in addition to standard documentation, candidates must submit proof of payment of tuition and enrollment fees for the Bridging Program (payment slip, online banking confirmation, etc.).
