The Proceedings of the Rijeka Faculty of Economics: Journal of Economics and Business is a permanent scientific publication of the Faculty. The journal is conceptually oriented toward publishing papers in the fields of economic theory and economic policy, with a primary focus on scientific research.

The Proceedings of the Rijeka Faculty of Economics: Journal of Economics and Business has been continuously published since 1971.
- From 1988 to 1993, it was published once a year
- Since 1993, it has been published twice a year (spring and autumn)
Scope and Concept
The journal focuses on publishing:
- scientific papers in economic theory and policy
- exceptionally, high-quality professional papers
In addition, it includes:
- book reviews and evaluations
- overviews of recent scientific publications in economics and related fields
- information on international conferences, calls for papers, and other relevant updates
The journal’s concept, goals, and strategy are guided by the International Advisory Board, while the Editorial Board implements these policies.

Open Call for Contributions
The journal is open year-round to submissions from researchers in Croatia and abroad.
All contributions to economic theory and practice are welcome.
A special section, Letters to the Editor, publishes selected letters, comments, and discussions from readers and authors.
Publication Fees and Ethics
- No submission fee is charged
- If a paper is accepted, authors must pay a publication fee of €350 prior to publication
- The fee applies from Volume 33, Issue 2 (2015)
