Active lifelong learning programmes are delivered regularly throughout the academic year, in accordance with the planned schedule and the level of participant interest. In addition to open-enrolment programmes intended for individual participants, the Faculty also organises in-house training programmes tailored to the specific needs of companies, public institutions and other organisations.
The programmes are delivered in Croatian and English and cover a range of areas, including economics, management, sustainable development, public procurement and international business.
Public procurement programmes are delivered several times throughout the year. The training programme is organised in at least two cycles annually, while the professional development programme is held three to four times per year.
During the second semester of the academic year, the Faculty regularly offers the Marketing for Small Producers, Social Impact Manager (SIM) and International Business Workshops (IBW) programmes.
The micro-credentials Sustainable Finance and ESG Criteria and Identifying Environmental Change and Risk Management form part of the Faculty’s annual teaching plan and are delivered during both semesters of the academic year.
Bridging programmes are intended for candidates who need to acquire additional knowledge, skills and competences required for enrolment in graduate and postgraduate study programmes at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Rijeka. These programmes enable participants to build on previously acquired competences and fulfil the academic requirements for continuing their education and progressing to a higher level of qualification. They are offered throughout the academic year, with their content tailored to admission requirements and participants’ prior educational backgrounds.
