Bridging Programme for Enrolment in Graduate Studies

The right to apply for enrollment in the program is granted to individuals who have completed a four-year secondary school and meet one of the following conditions:

• completed a professional undergraduate study program under the old system in the field of social sciences
• completed a professional undergraduate study program under the new system in the field of social sciences and obtained at least 180 ECTS credits
• completed a university undergraduate study program under the old system in the field of social sciences

Teaching is delivered in an online environment.

Call for Applications for the Bridging Programme for the Acquisition of the Knowledge, Skills and Competences Required for Admission to University Graduate Study Programmes at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Rijeka

Application Procedure

Applications must be submitted online through the Eduneta system, starting from 1 July 2026.

ONLINE APPLICATION FORM

During the final step of the online application process, applicants will receive a unique username and password to access the Eduneta-Studomatic system:

Applicants must complete the following steps through the Eduneta-Studomatic portal:

1. Download the agreement (under Ugovor), print two copies and sign both.
2. Scan the signed agreement and upload it to the portal under Preslike dokumenata (Document Copies).
3. Upload the following supporting documents in the same section:
   • Certificate of Croatian Citizenship (Domovnica) and Birth Certificate.
   • Copy of a valid identity card.
   • Certified copy or original of the Diploma Supplement from the previously completed study programme.
   • Proof of payment of the tuition and enrolment fees.
   • Copy of the final-year secondary school certificate (Maturalna svjedodžba) as proof of completion of a four-year secondary education programme.

Please note: The Eduneta system automatically generates a payment slip containing detailed payment instructions for each applicant. Applicants must use the exact payment details provided in the system when making their payments.

Application Deadline

Online applications must be submitted no later than 2 October 2026.

Enrolment Procedure

Enrolment will take place from 5 to 9 October 2026.

To complete the enrolment process, applicants must send the following documents by registered post:

1. Two printed and signed copies of the Programme Participation Agreement.
2. Copies of the Certificate of Croatian Citizenship (Domovnica) and Birth Certificate.
3. Copy of a valid identity card.
4. Certified copy or original of the certificate or diploma confirming completion of the previous study programme.
5. Proof of payment of the tuition and enrolment fees.

Programme Objectives

The programme aims to build upon participants’ existing knowledge and competencies, providing opportunities for further academic development and progression to higher levels of study and qualifications, in line with their individual needs, interests and professional aspirations.

Programme Duration – 1 year

ALL LECTURES AND EXAMINATIONS ARE CONDUCTED ONLINE.

Additional Information

• The Bridging Programme for Admission to University Graduate Study Programmes at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Rijeka, forms part of the Faculty’s lifelong learning provision. Enrolment in the programme does not confer formal student status or the associated student rights and obligations.
• Courses with the same or equivalent titles and/or content completed outside this programme are not recognised for credit transfer or exemption purposes.
• Courses will be delivered and examinations held provided that at least 15 participants enrol in the programme.
• Upon successful completion of the programme, including passing all required examinations, participants receive a Certificate of Programme Completion, listing all successfully completed courses and the grades achieved.
• Successful completion of the programme makes participants eligible to apply for admission to a University Graduate Study Programme at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Rijeka.
• During enrolment, applicants must submit the standard required documentation together with proof of payment of the Bridging Programme tuition and enrolment fees (e.g. a payment slip or online banking transaction confirmation).

Admission Requirements

Applicants are eligible to apply for admission to the Bridging Programme if they have completed a four-year secondary education programme and meet at least one of the following requirements:

• Have completed a professional higher education programme in the field of Social Sciences under the previous higher education system (pre-Bologna).
• Have completed a professional undergraduate study programme in the field of Social Sciences under the current higher education system and acquired at least 180 ECTS credits.
• Have completed a university degree programme under the previous higher education system (pre-Bologna).
