Project Summary
The PORTUS project aims to strengthen the Faculty’s capacity to provide high-quality student internships and foster systematic cooperation with the business sector. The project focuses on improving internship programmes, strengthening career guidance services, and developing students’ soft skills.
Particular emphasis is placed on mandatory internships with host organisations, the evaluation of internship quality, and the development of digital tools that facilitate connections between students and the labour market and create opportunities for professional networking.
Project activities include training programmes, workshops, job fairs, alumni engagement, and professional development for internship mentors. These activities facilitate knowledge transfer, support the development of competencies aligned with labour market needs, and contribute to enhancing students’ employability. The project is fully aligned with relevant national and EU strategic documents.

Target Group:
Public and private higher education institutions registered in the Register of Higher Education Institutions under the authority of the Ministry of Science, Education and Youth of the Republic of Croatia, in accordance with the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (Official Gazette No. 119/2022).
